Our Journey

RBC Television began its journey in 2018, evolving from the Global News Network (GNN) to BBC Roblox, and ultimately becoming the Roblox Broadcasting Corporation (RBC) that we know today.
In 2021, we launched RBC News 24, a dedicated news channel focused on covering everything related to Roblox. Since then, our team started growing, and our broadcasts have improved with new technology and storytelling methods.
We’ve produced many stories covering a wide range of topics and events important to the Roblox community. We work hard to keep viewers informed and engaged with the news that matters most.

The Next Chapter

On May 17th, 2025, we launched one of the most important updates in our history: a full revamp of RBC News 24. We introduced a brand-new studio, updated graphics, and many other improvements. As part of this new chapter, our main program is now simply known as Newsroom. We also promised that our anchors would take a more active role by covering some news stories themselves instead of only presenting them. This means more screen time for them and a stronger connection with you, our viewers. The news set was also redesigned to be smaller, as we plan to rely more on screens and visuals, just like in the final broadcasts before the revamp. With these changes, we are improving how stories are told, making the news more visual. This update marks a brand-new era for RBC News 24, and we are excited to serve you better than ever before.


Development

RBC News 24 has come a long way since its launch, and we're always working to make it better. Our newsroom continues to grow and adapt to new and improved changes that make reporting stories much easier and better. Alongside this, our new website represents a major leap in how we deliver the news. Built by a dedicated team of developers, the site allows us to publish stories faster, organize our content more effectively, and reach more of our audience with ease. We will be using this site more often so that we can report other stories worth mentioning that didn’t make the final cut for Newsroom, since we focus on airing only the most important and trending stories there.

Ever dreamed of creating your own news stories? Think you’ve got what it takes to report, write, or create? We’re always looking for passionate and creative people to join us. Head over to our application page that you can find in our Discord server and become part of the RBC News 24 team!
Before applying to the News Division, please note that you need to be able to write news stories in high quality (using AI software to create scripts is strictly prohibited), record clips and interviews in high quality inside Roblox games and edit the stories using DaVinci Resolve (or other similar editing softwares) in high quality following our formats and tutorials you will be given once you get accepted. Additionally, you are expected to stay active and complete assigned tasks on time to help keep our newsroom running smoothly.
